Five letters to and from Harvey W. Martin and his brother John Wesley Martin. Letter one from Harvey W. Martin to his brother, John Wesley. Written on November 8, 1864 from breastworks near Richmond. Letter two is from an unknown person to John Wesley Martin. Written on December 14, 1856 from Tennessee. Letter three is another family letter discussing migrating through Tennessee and southwest Virginia. Written in September 1859 Letter four is from William S. Price who has migrated to Missouri. Written February 10, 1856. Letter five is another War letter written from North Carolina in February 1864. Letter six is another War letter written from Tazewell, Va in August 1862. |
